The offer to purchase is in the amount of Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000.00). Notice is hereby given that prior to November 27, 2023, at 4:00 PM, any person may raise the bid by not less than ten percent (10%) of the first one thousand dollars ($1000) and five percent (5%) of the remainder ($249,000). Therefore, the lowest acceptable upset bid is Two Hundred Sixty-Two Thousand Five Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($262,550.00).

A Lenoir County task force that included four different law enforcement units conducted search warrants and proactive patrols that resulted in six felony arrests last week.
The firearm used in this incident was reported stolen from Greenville, NC, and Carmon is a convicted felon. Carmon has been arrested and placed in the Lenoir County Jail under secure bond for the following: Attempted Murder, Possession of a Firearm by Felon, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Injury to Personal Property.
“White Christmas,” one of my favorite holiday movies, was made in 1954. I was around four years old at the time. I am unsure when I first watched the film, but once I viewed it, it became a Christmas staple.
Snow Hill Primary gives out a weekly award called "Terrific Kid" awards. Each teacher at SHP chooses a student who has been responsible, shows great character, or has reached a personal goal. Ryan S. Boyce, Director of the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts, recently made a visit to the Recovery Court presided over by Judge Beth Heath in Lenoir County. Recovery Courts aim to assist individuals with court-ordered treatment plans related to chemical dependence.

In 2019, Joshua Stroud of Woodington Middle School embarked on a mission inspired by a fellow young philanthropist he saw on television. Witnessing a peer organizing Thanksgiving food drives, Stroud was inspired to make a similar impact in his community.
