Golden LEAF grant to boost Lenoir County industrial growth

Lenoir County has been selected for the Golden LEAF SITE Program’s Identification phase, securing funding for an industrial site study. A third-party consultant will assess potential development sites across the county, positioning the region for future business expansion.

“The Golden LEAF Board of Directors established the SITE Program to help rural communities make sites available for development to attract new businesses and create opportunities for existing businesses to expand,” said Golden LEAF CEO Scott T. Hamilton.

With support from Golden LEAF, Lenoir County and the Global TransPark Economic Development Region are enhancing site readiness and infrastructure to drive long-term economic growth.
