An incident involving a city worker and an armed resident occurred earlier today at the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Pollock Street. Law enforcement authorities swiftly responded to the situation, ensuring the safety of the public and bringing the individual into custody.

KPD Officers responded to the area of shots fired in the areas of the 200 block of E Vernon Avenue and the 600 block of Cooks Ally. A witness provided officers with an offender description and a vehicle description. As officers arrived in the area, the observed the described offender and the vehicle fleeing the area.
