Lenoir County 4-H agents honored at NCAE4-HYDP state meeting

Lenoir County 4-H agents Abbigail Barber and Joel Dixon were recognized for their outstanding contributions during the NCAE4-HYDP (North Carolina Association of Extension 4-H Youth Development Professionals) State Meeting in Concord last night.

Abbigail Barber received several top honors in the NAE4-HYDP Communicator Awards. She won the Exhibit Award, which will advance to the Southern Regional and compete at the National Convention. Barber also secured the Social Media Package/Campaign Team Award alongside Samantha Wiggins, Jones County 4-H Agent, and the Promotional Package Individual Award.

Joel Dixon was elected as President-Elect of NCAE4-HYDP and will serve as President-Elect for one year before assuming the role of President.
