La Grange — Reports of a lockdown at North Lenoir High School on Wednesday morning were dismissed by officials following a fight between students involving scissors broken up by teachers.
On Monday at a little after 5 p.m., Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to 3859 Pecan Grove Circle for a death investigation. Deputies arrived and located Xavier Branch, 32, deceased at the scene.
